A magical afternoon at Belmont Chapel: "Très Doux" Concert
On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the beautifully restored Belmont Chapel in Newport, RI, was filled with the enchanting sounds of the Sheffield Chamber Players as they presented their captivating concert, "Très Doux." This event marked another highlight in the Puddingstone Music series, bringing together music lovers for an unforgettable afternoon of classical elegance and impressionistic beauty.
The concert featured two iconic string quartets: Beethoven's String Quartet No. 5 in A Major and Maurice Ravel's String Quartet in F Major. The Sheffield Chamber Players delivered a masterful performance, showcasing the early brilliance of these two legendary composers.
