Jazz & Shakespeare – A New Mini‑Series
Join us as we launch an exciting new addition to the Puddingstone programming: “Jazz & Shakespeare.” This innovative series pairs readings of Shakespeare’s timeless monologues and sonnets with world‑class jazz performance — a rich blend of words and music that will delight the senses.
For our debut event, enjoy the extraordinary talents of pianist Randy Ingram and vocalist Aubrey Johnson, performing selections from their acclaimed 2022 release Play Favorites. Be transported by Johnson’s lush jazz vocals and Ingram’s gorgeous, expressive piano playing, all set in the elegant surroundings of Provence Sur Mer.
Between jazz sets, enjoy captivating Shakespearean readings from A Midsummer Night’s Dream — curated and performed by Jay Bragan, who will also share fascinating insights on Shakespeare and Music.
