Pianist extraordinaire, Angela Kim, is returning to Newport, this time with violinist, Clara Kim. The program includes Bach’s Sonata for Violin and Keyboard No. 6, a piece by Grammy winner, Jesse Montgomery, Prokofiev’s profound Sonata No. 1 as well as a piece composed for the duo by one of today’s most celebrated contemporary composers, Molly Herron. A live dance performance will translate the harmonies into motion.
Doors open 5:30pm followed by the performance at 6:00 pm. A cash bar will be hosted by Newport Art Museum for drinks purchases and complementary small bites will be served.
